How Integrative Veterinary
Medicine Works
We need to meet with
you!
Initially, that meeting might be by phone,
email or in person. We will need all the prior history and
tests results sent to us after our initial
conversation.
There will be a thorough and in-depth history
taken, followed by a discussion of where we might fit in
to the veterinary care team of your
animal. Only then will we formulate a treatment plan.
That plan might include additional testing that would
be performed by your primary veterinarian.
If we are unable to physically examine your animal
companion, then possible diet changes, supplements, herbal
therapy, or Medical Qigong treatments might be
recommended. If we are seeing your animal companion in
person, additional options may include acupuncture and/or
chiropractic care.
Even if we never see your animal companion in person, we can
help. Many disease processes consistently present in
the same manner. For example, if your animal companion is
on a chemotherapy drug that affects the bone marrow, we
can support that bone marrow with herbs without having to
physically see him or her. We, of course, would always
like to meet you and your animal in person, but we
understand that is not always possible.
You are
not alone. We can help.
